The Nouvelle Vague chair
Although the Nouvelle Vague chair is new, its sculptural s-shaped design would not look out of place alongside your classic Panton chair and Dalu lamp.
It was designed by Christophe Pillet a French designer who worked with Philippe Starck before going it alone in the 1990s. The chair premiered at last year's Milan Furniture Fair and has now gone into production through Italian design specialists Porro. It is available in ultra-glossy white, black or red and can be purchased with a matching oval footrest.
If want style over function for your pad (because it certainly doesn't look all that comfy), it's available to buy in the UK from Geoffrey Drayton for £1332 for the chair and £577 for the footstool. For more details, check out www.geoffrey-drayton.co.uk.
