The Danish Homestore

Danishhomestore Why not do your bit for the environment by furnishing your home with retro furniture?  BBC2's "green queen" Penney Poyzer from No Waste Like Home recommends you do just that by visiting the Danish Homestore in Nottingham.

Penney's whole house is a shrine to all things environmentally friendly, but the way she chooses to furnish her home is the easy way to go green. The Danish homestore stocks a range of classic Danish furniture including tables, sideboards and lighting. So if it is an original Panthella lamp or the perfect retro shelving system you are after this is the place to look.

For those of us who don't live near Nottingham the good news is that they have a website and can deliver worldwide.

And if you are really inspired to go green you can read Penney's book from the series. So why not re-cycle...the possibilities are endless!
