The Greenside mug
Everyone needs a nice mug to drink their cuppa from and even better if you know you are helping a good cause in the process. The Greenside mug, created by designers Hannah Dipper and Robin Farquhar at People Will Always Need Plates, is a limited-edition piece developed to help raise funds for the Twentieth Century Society.
The mug features and is named after the listed Modernist home that was demolished without permission in 2003. Proceeds from the mugs will help the Society continue its work to try and protect and conserve other modern buildings under threat - and to take action against the builder who demolished the listed Greenside building.
At only £11 it doesn't cost a lot to get a stylish mug and help save great architecture at the same time. If you want one, contact Cela Selley at firstname.lastname@example.org or for more information on the Twentieth Century Society, visit www.c20society.org.uk or call 020 7250 3857.
