Brionvega TS522 radio

Brionvega Technology changes, but style is for the long term. Take this Brionvega TS255 radio, designed by Richard Sapper and Macro Zanuso in 1964.

The looks haven't changed a great deal since its inception, but the technology has stayed up to date. However, that doesn't mean a great deal as it's still a radio, and not a DAB one either. It's FM and AM, with five presets for each.

But who cares about the technology - it looks great in either of its three colours and is a true design classic for your home. Expect to pay about £165.
