Solo’s 60s inspired cycling tops

Solocycling Regular readers will know that we have a lot of time for Rapha’s classic cycling wear. Now we’ve found some more cycling wear inspired by the past – this time made by Solo in New Zealand.

Probably more of a practical top than Rapha’s garments, each of the Solo jerseys is an interpretation of the styles worn by the great riders of the 50s and 60s, but made using modern fabric, which is much more practical if you use the tops out on the road.

The cycling jerseys, which are available in various styles, feature an 18cm front zip with an over-size zipper pull for gloved fingers, customised silicon elastic waist band, additional rear zipped pocket (for storage) plus polycotton/lycra arm and neck bands.

They retail for around £70, plus the cost of postage.
