Most of the sound systems you can buy for your iPod have one big problem – they look like iPods, which is pretty dull it has to be said. So how about going retro in your living room with the Specktone tabletop stereo speaker system?
Looking like something that would have been in your electrical retailers 30 years ago, it’s got the sound you’d expect from a decent iPod sound system, with 28 watt output through two three-inch drivers and a four-inch sub-woofer.
But unlike other systems, this one is in a wood cabinet with a large volume control knob on the front, available in vintage green, black or white.
It’s a US product, retailing for $150. But if you fancy one, drop them a line – they seem small enough to help you find one.
