For anyone with an interest in the nation’s domestic life in the modern times, the Museum of Domestic Design and Architecture at Middlessex University is holding an event that should be right up your street (and into the kitchen).
The What’s For Dinner? exhibition explores half a century’s worth of eating habits, from the contents of a 1950s kitchen cupboard through various tins, magazine ads, teasmades and fondue sets right up to today’s modern-day food packaging, 21st century mugs and futuristic cutlery.
You’ve got plenty of time to plan a visit – the exhibition runs from April 25th to October 29th. Admission is free.
