Nixon Rotolog watch
Some of the best retro finds can be in the strangest places. I always had Nixon down as a "surfer" company, so hadn't really bothered to take a closer look.
But now I have - and I'm impressed with what I've found - in particular, the Rotolog Watch from Nixon.
Available in five looks, but we like the walnut. It features a Japanese quartz movement and the case is made from stainless steel with a real walnut wood inlay, while the band is also custom stainless steel, with real walnut and a butterfly closure. And as it's a surfer watch, it's obviously water resistant.
Looks great, though the price tag might put you off - it's available in UK Nixon dealers for around £200.

quick note - it's not waterproof, according to Nixon, it's purely a 'style watch'.
