Space age Nimrod chair

Nimrod A chair from back in the day. That day probably being some time in the late 60s or early 70s.

Mark Newson's Nimrod chair screams the space age design of days gone by and really wouldn't look out of place in Woody Allen's Sleeper. Made from a polyethylene frame with coloured wool seat cover, it's probably not the most comfortable of chairs, but at least it should offer plenty of support for your back.

If you've got that plastic space age vibe going on, it should be high up on your list of potential purchases when you have a windfall. Not cheap, priced from around £500, but undoubtledly a future classic.
