Kay Bojesen Monkey
The Kay Bojesen monkey is something of a design classic, which is quite an achievement for a small wooden monkey.
Bojesen started life as a silversmith, but became world famous for his wooden toys, and is known as one of Denmark's applied arts pioneers. The monkey continues to be made in Denmark from teak and limbawood, embodying the principles of Danish design and superior craftmanship.
The monkey even features on Danish televison, as a mascot in wildlife programmes, and a prize in quiz shows.
If you want to give one a home it will set you back around £86 for the small version (8"), or if you want to go for the large version (23.6") it will cost you about £620.
