Lamb Chop hand puppet

I've loved Lamb Chop ever since I got a Lamb Chop annual for my 7th Birthday, and now you can own your own by buying this hand puppet from Couverture.

Lamb Chop for those of you who don't know, or are too young to remember is a fictional sheep character created by comedienne and ventriloquist Shari Lewis. The sock puppet character first appeared with Lewis on the US television show Captain Kangaroo in 1957, but it was during the 60s and 70s that she was best known, when she had her own musical-comedy show. Lamb Chop still lives on today with her daughter Mallory Lewis continuing to work with her.

The Couverture version looks just like the original, and is made of pure wool. It is hand knitted, which may explain the price of £59. Still what price can you put on nostalgia?
