Looking to start your kids off in the right direction? Buy them a vintage scooter - like the Balance Scooter from Skipper.
Don't worry - there's no engine here, it's very much like the classic child's scooter, with balance and the power in your child's legs getting him or her down the street. And it'll certainly make your child stand out. It's based on a classic Vespa design, aimed at 2-5 year-olds and available in red, black, pink or blue. It's also safety tested, has a hardwearing lacquer finish, EVA rubber wheels and an engineered axle and bearings.
You can order one online, priced around £90. And you can even customise it, with a seat cover available for an extra £8.50. No word in extra mirrors though.
