Scalextric 50th Anniversary commemorative box set

Scalextric_50 Scalextric has been entertaining young and old for 50 years - first launched at the Harrogate Toy Fair in 1957. And to celebrate this event, the company is issuing a Scalextric 50th Anniversary commemorative box set.

The anniversary set harks back to the original set, featuring a Ferrari 375 with a tinplate body, just like the original set (tin was used until 1960). This is coupled with a Ferrari F1 race car from 2006. Also included (apart from the usual components) is a 50th Anniversary book which charts the history and milestones of the famous brand.

The Scalextric 50th Anniversary set is available soon, priced at £75.
