eBay Watch: Original Pink Panther car up for grabs
Yes, your eyes do not deceive you, this is the "one and only truly original" Pink Panther car that featured in the credits of the 1960s cartoon. And it is available now on eBay, with the seller based in Scotland.
It was created by Hollywood builder Jay Ohrberg. It's 23ft long, 6ft wide and is powered by a 7 litre engine, with front wheel drive. Unsurprisingly, it hasn't been driven much, just 10 miles on the engine, but that's probably due to UK road regulations - it hasn't got any lights for a start. And if you want to show it off, you get written permission to stick the car on display from MGM.
The starting bid is £75,000 - a bit steep for a pink car you can't legally drive. But as an investment, it could be a shrewd bit of business if you're the right person.
