Planet Robot - limited edition vintage robots

If you are into vintage toy robots, you should take a look at Planet Robot, a site that specialises in reproducing classic robot designs from years gone by.

You have to be a member to purchase a robot, but once you are, you get the option to buy one of the limited pieces if you're quick off the mark. Currently up for grabs is this Space Explorer robot. It's a Japanese design, produced by Yonezawa in the 1950s and is available with a hammer finish in grey or blue, just like the original.

The limited run of this one is 200 units, so if you want one, get moving. It retails for between $93 and $103 (around £47 - £52).
