The look, the shape, the material – it all points to the late 60s/early 70s. But the Rive Droite chair by Cappellini is actually a modern-day design by Parisian designer Patrick Norguet.
The swivel chair is constructed of a satined stainless steel base supporting a metal frame with molded polyurethane foam padded upholstery. The cover is available in a choice of Cappellini fabrics as well as brightly coloured fabrics in cotton or velvet (as you can see to your right) by Emilio Pucci. And if you’ve got plenty of cash, there’s even a matching two-seater sofa.
But you’ll a significant amount for the chair alone – £2315.
