Gastone Trolley by Kartel

Gastone_folding The Gastone Trolley, designed by Antonio Citterio for Kartel isn’t strictly speaking from the past as it was first designed in 1991, but serving trolleys always conjure up images of the 1970s, in particular Abigail’s Party.

It is available in a range of colours, including a rather retro shade of plum. It is smaller than the trolleys of the Seventies and easily folds away for storage. So why not put on your best clothes and invite the neighbours round for pineapple and cheese on sticks and a bottle or two of Blue Nun?

It is available from DesignME priced £367.
