It's not a toaster. Looking at the website that sells it(a website that sells virtually nothing but teapots), one would expect more information on how it functions, what batteries it uses, assurances of it's safety, etc. It makes no claims of being a toaster because it is simply an overpriced novelty teapot shaped like a toaster.
