Seiko space age Discus watch

Straight out of Japan, but not into the UK as yet is this super cool Seiko space age Discus watch.

It;s a modern take on an old idea, using three numbered discs that rotate and work together to offer up the time (hours, minutes and seconds) in a circular display area. The case is available in two designs - one with a stainless body and white face, another with a black metal body and a smoked glass face.

But not yet available outside of Japan. eBay should be your salvation though, but yu'll have to pay around £450.

While the Discus is not officially for sale in North America, I was able to find a couple over on eBay, priced at about $890 each.

Le Corbusier Modular Measuring Tape

Not confused enough with inches and centimetres? Well, you could add an even more confusing type of measurement into your life with the Le Corbusier Modular Measuring Tape.

Dating back to 1945, Le Corbusier developed his Modular measurement units as a universal system to replace metric and imperial in industrial design. In fact, it was used in the planning of the Unité d'Habitation in Marseille (1945-52), but sadly, not much more.

But if you want to impress your friends, confuse your enemies or bag the perfect gift for the architect in your life, you can pick up the tape in a round aluminium box with a certificate of authenticity for £45.

The words 'novelty' and 'wallet' don't sit comfortably together, but this Paul Frank Vintage Camera wallet gets it just about right.

It's made of a chocolate brown vinyl with orange accents and has slots for your credit cards, money and keys. But best of all, it has that rather cool camera design, ideal for any budding photographer.

Available online, it retails for $27, which is around £14.

Sir Peter Blake Love Target limited edition tax disc holder

Want to own a piece of limited edition artwork from Sir Peter Blake for under £50? You can if you act quickly to snap up this Sir Peter Blake Love Target limited edition tax disc holder.

It's one of a number of tax disc holders available from some big names in the art world, all sold through the online Art Car Boot Fair as part of its Pretty Taxing project. Blake's offering is an update of his seminal 'The First Real Target' from 1961.

Just 500 of these available in a collector's box, after which it's likely to sell for an inflated price on eBay. But right now you can buy one for £40.

Vitra offers white Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman

Don't mess with a classic? Well, I think I can forgive Vitra when the end result of its revamped Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman looks this good.

The white Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman is more makeover than re-design, with nothing physically changed from the original 1956 seat. The new version, which has been developed in collaboration with the Eames Office and Hella Jongerius, just makes things a whole lot lighter. That means off-white leather upholstery, an aluminium base, plywood shells with a pigmented walnut veneer and all the minor details, down to the zips on the cushions, changed to fit in with the new colour scheme.

One thing does remain unchanged - the hefty price tag. You can pick up the white Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman for £4,879.
