I agree, my tights have a good selection of retro tights with really nice designs.
I also find http://www.sockshop.co.uk/ quite good for this kind of thing - they have a nice selection of woolen and indeed retro tights

Textured tights and colorful tights are my absolute fave. You can even wear some tights with a thinner sock to add some layers.. My fave socks site is http://www.thesockboutique.com
