Cini Boeri Lunarion space age coffee table

Space age in name, space age in look - that's the Cini Boeri Lunarion coffee table.

Designed in 1970, the Lunarion consists of a clear oval piece of tempered glass with a polished steel insert cap and a base made of sheet steel. How does it stay balanced? Well, inner weights in the base counterbalance the hefty piece of glass on top.

Clever design and a stylish piece of furniture, it's been reissued by Knoll and retails for around £1,856.
