Joy Division (2008) reviewed

With Control not long out of the cinemas, another Joy Division movie has hit the big screen, going under the name Joy Division – the documentary.

Written by Jon Savage, this is a factual account of both band and era, with input from just about everyone connected – including, for the first time, Ian Curtis’ other woman Annik Honoré – along with a pile of never-before-seen footage.

It’s on general release in the UK from this week, but I managed to catch it last week and now have a review online (should you be tempted to check it out). It’s over at our movie site Cinedelica.
