Skateboards have been hip for more years than I can remember, so what better thing to convert into an audio system - as is the case with the Skateboard Speaker Shelf.
It's a two-way item. First up, it's a shelf for storing our bits and pieces, but also it's an audio system, with 2x 3-inch speakers built in and a dock that's compatible with most iPod models.
Sized at 29 x 5.5 x 8 inches and available in a choice of colours, it sells for $129, which is around £65.
