Brionvega Algol numbered edition TV

Brionvega_algol

Whilst browsing the Brionvega site looking for more details on the reissued Doney TV, I also came across another limited design classic - the Brionvega Algol numbered edition TV.

Like the Doney, this was also originally introduced in 1964 and again was the work of Marco Zanuso and Richard Sapper, with an update to the inner working for the modern era - 99 preset channels, Teletext, Scart and SVHS connectors and a 10-inch cinescope screen.

The numbered edition is in a miltary green colour, with details of its number and heritage etched on the side by laser marking. It sells for 1,800 Euros.
