Brighten up your office with the Lego block lamp

Lego_lamp

Yes, more design inspired by everyone's favourite toy brick, with this Lego block lamp from Japan's 25togo offering brightness and a desk tidy for your office.

As you might guess, this isn't Lego licensed, but there's no mistaking the inspiration of this acrylic light, which is powered by LEDs and has a snap off top that doubles up as a desk tidy.

It stands at 6 ? 4 ? 2.4 inches and is available to buy online for a criminally cheap 1,600 Yen, which works out at $15 or £7.50. Cheap enough to buy buy a few and stack them high maybe?

Mai '68 - extremely limited edition book of the Paris 1968 street posters

Mai_68

Regular readers will recall our fascination with the posters from the Hayward Gallery's May 68: Street Posters from the Paris Rebellion exhibition, which were available in very limited numbers from the Keep Calm Gallery back in April. Well, if you missed out there and have a grand to spare, we have just the thing.

Mai '68 is the official book of the exhibition. But it's not just your average catalogue. Oh no, this a seriously limited edition hardback book featuring all 40 of the poster designs shown in the exhibition. Each page is perforated, so you can pull out your favourites and frame them up. Or you can just keep it safe - this is only going to go up in value.

Just 68 of these available and only via Paul Smith, which is selling each one with a certificate of authenticity. Just as well - you don't want to pay £1,200 for any old rubbish.
