First introduced in 1978 (to celebrate Puma’s role in winning the World Cup for the home country), later a terrace favourite in the 1980s and briefly seen last year as a limited edition, the Puma Argentina trainers are back on the market in white and red.

An understated classic, the shoe has a white nylon upper with suede and leather detailing in cream and red as well as that substantial sole that gives it that distinctive look.

You can pick up a pair now, priced around £55.
