Fortuny Moda floor lamp

Quite possibly the oldest piece of design we've featured on Retro To Go, the Fortuny Moda floor lamp is now just over 100 years old.

Designed by Mariano Fortuny y Madrazo in1907, the Moda is reminiscent of large photography studio lights, guaranteed to create a talking point in any room. And plenty of light too - a whopping 500w bulb sits within that adjustable cotton 'shade', all standing upright on a tubular steel frame with powder finish.
