Limited edition Fiat 500 by Diesel goes on sale in UK - but online sales only

Remember the Fiat 500 by Diesel? We featured it a couple of months back, but suspected it wouldn't be made available in the UK. We were wrong.

Yes, you can now get your name down for a limited edition Fiat 500 by Diesel in the UK, but you have to do it online. Fiat is offering 10,000 of the limited editions to UK buyers on a 'first come first served' basis, with the option of configuring to your heart's content and (we presume) home delivery.

If you missed it first time around, the car is the work of Diesel's Lars Schwartz and the Fiat Centro Stile studio, offering a military green paint job,  Diesel logos on the side and mirrors, yellow-painted brake calipers, 'unique' air intakes and fuel filler cap, 16-inch alloy wheels, logos on the hubs and a yellow-stitched, denim-like interior and a hands-free phone kit.

Take your pick from the 1.2 and 1.4 petrol engines or the 1.3 Multijet diesel, with prices starting at £11,150.
