A stark contrast to yesterday's functional Q Stak chairs, the Robin Day Club sofa is a stylish mid-century design that's every bit at home in the modern living room.

Obviously inspired by the classic 1950s Florence Knoll sofa, this particular design was introduced by Day in 1962 as a modern take on the Chesterfield, becoming Britain's first-ever 'cube sofa' at the same time.

Built around a stainless steel frame, you can take your pick from a two or three-seat sofa, along with an armchair and footstool, all available in either leather or fabric, plus an 'eco' version made from recycled wool fabric. Prices obviously depend on your choice, but as a guide, the armchair starts at £995 and the sofas at £1,295.
