Many stories and their images have been given the title of classic, and few are so instantly recognisable as the artwork of The Moomins. Starting their story in 1945, the Swedish Mumintrolls have gathered something of a cult following thanks to their timeless appeal to kids and adults alike.

Although the stories were originally written in Swedish, the author Tove Jansson was actually Finnish. So there!
I must correct one small error in this post: the Moomins, although the first books published in Swedish, are very much Finnish. Tove Jansson, the creator of Moomins, was a Finland-Swede – meaning that her mother tongue was Swedish but she was still a Finn. For us Finns this is a big thing 😉
I think this Moomins bag look the part it`s a bargain at £37.50.
