While Urban Outfitters in the UK tends towards kitsch and fun homewares, the American store always seems to stock some more interesting furniture numbers, such as this so-called Danish Modern Love Seat.
With a clear nod towards mid-century Scandinavian designs, it's a simple design with an exposed ash frame and a choice of either the yellow pictured or a green for your cushions. And it's certainly not going to go out of fashion as quickly as some of the novelty items on sale in the UK store.
It's available exclusively online and, more annoyingly, only to customers in the USA. If those conditions apply to you, it will cost you $398.

If it’s any consolation the American Urban Outfitters are mostly full of trendy clothes for teens and 20somethings (and older folks pretending they’re 20something) and over priced mass produced trendy trinkets for people who need a chain store to show them what’s cool.
Lately their furniture has been cool, otherwise it’s typically a mecca of useless “hip”. Although, I must say, their turntables and typewriters got my attention. However, fickle as they are, both items became so 2008 and they don’t sell typewriter ribbon there anymore.
