Free tunes, free food and a rarely-seen cult movie on the big screen? Wjat's the catch? There is no catch at The Macbeth Film Night and its screening of Deep End next month. Ok, just one – you'll need to be in London.
It takes place on Monday 4th October 2010, the main event being that screening of Jerzy Skolimowski's Deep End from 1970, which stars Jane Asher, John Moulder Brown and Diana Dors. It's apparently the story of 'obsessive teenage love, exploitation and sexual jealousy apparently', a million miles away from the bright lights of swinging London, so expect more than a bit of grit.
Interesting soundtrack too, everything from Cat Stevens to Can. Talking of music, DJ Andy Lewis will be spinning the tunes – film soundtracks and other movie related music.
There's even complimentary hot dogs and popcorn available to all attending. Admission is free and doors open at 7pm. The Macbeth is at 70 Hoxton Street London N1, for more details, check out the Facebook page.
