Kay + Stemmer Stride dining table and chairs for Heal's ReDiscovers

This Stride dining table and chairs is another great design by Kay + Stemmer, this time part of the Heal's ReDiscovers collection.

The designs apparently draw inspiration from the Utility designs of Christopher Heal in the 1950s and offer a stylish, contemporary take on that period's designs. The table and the chairs are made from oak, with the chairs being available in a choice of green or grey wool upholstery. As an added bonus, the chairs have deliberately placed low handles so the chairs can easily be pulled towards the table. 

A future classic, with the price tag to match: the table costs £1895 while the chairs cost £295 each.
