For all you cult kid's TV obsessives out there, here's a night out you won't want to miss – The Music Of Vernon Elliott: A tribute to the world of Oliver Postgate performed by North Sea Radio Orchestra.

Taking place at Hall One, Kings Place, 90 York Way, London N1 9AG, it's a tribute to the man who gave us The Clangers, Ivor the Engine, Pogle's Wood, Noggin The Nog and more, the man who did the music (Vernon Elliott), as well as being a tribute to those very shows. Expect specially commissioned music arranged by NSRO leader Craig Fortnam and film composer Laura Rossi and in honour of Postgate, musically accompanied Postgate visuals and a special rendering of the music from Bagpuss.

It's hosted by Johnny Trunk, with tickets available now, £9.50 each at Kings Place. That ticket link also has some audio samples of what to expect.
