It's not cheap, but this 1978 Volkswagen Beetle Jubilee Edition is a one of a kind. According to the seller, it's the last-ever original VW Beetle built for the UK market.
Here's the story. In 1978, the last 300 Beetles were built for the UK market, each one labelled and numbered to that effect. Number one was kept in a museum on Germany. This is number 300, the very last one.
It was won in a competition and has been maintained by the owners since. Stored away from 1978 to 1986, original carpets stored separately and mileage seriously limited. There's just 25,000 on the clock since new.
Some chrome has been replaced with chrome of the same quality, but other than that, this is all original and of course, right-hand drive. If you have the money and the garage space, this is certainly an investment, albeit one that doesn't come cheap. £14,995 is the asking price on eBay – or you can make an offer.
