Postmodernism: Style and Subversion 1970-1990 exhibition at the V&A

The V&A's major exhibition this autumn is Postmodernism: Style and Subversion 1970-1990. This will be the musueum's first in-depth study of art, design and architecture of the 70s and 80s.

The exhibition will examine the evolution of postmodernism, from architectural design of the early 1970s to its influence on all areas of popular culture including art, film, music, graphics and fashion. The exhibition will feature over 250 objects & products from across the design world, including works from the likes of Peter Saville, Neville Brody, Andy Warhol & Jeff Koons, along with music videos from Grace Jones, New Order and other artists of the era.

Postmodernism: Style and Subversion 1970-1990 is at the V&A Museum in London from 24th September and runs until 15th January 2012. See the website for more details.
