Pedlars has done it again with another great limited edition print.
The latest in their long line of exclusives is Swing High by Helen Ingham, which is restricted to 32 editions. The artist specialises in using letterpresswith this particular design using traditional wooden type and hand-carved lino block and is printed onto cotton rag paper using period machinery. Besides the old-fashioned techniques used, the print is also worth considering for its delightful retro image of two woman on a swing boat.
The prints cost £595 from Pedlars.
That was me on that swing at a fair 50 years ago..so wish I could afford that bit of nostalga. Must try to track down a toffee apple later, better than nothing.
