London Zoo Tea Towels
Bliss Homeware has put vintage London Transport poster designs to good use on a range of products, but I particularly like the London Zoo tea towels that use posters promoting trips to the zoo by public transport.
There are three designs: Off to the Zoo by Reginald Rigby (1915), Take Them to the Zoo by James Henry Dowd (1924) and For the Zoo by Rojan (1935). As we have come to expect from London Transport designs, the illustrations are great examples of design from their respective periods.
The tea towels cost just under £10 each from the London Transport Museum Shop.
