Standing around six and a half inches tall (17cm) and said to be dating from the 1970s (no maker attached), it's not quite got the impact of the original, but it's certainly got character. The base is made of chrome-plated plastic, while the shade is made of white opal glass. Most importantly, it's a fully-working model too.
The lamp is described as being in 'used but very good condition', with no obvious signs of damage or serious wear and tear. Right now, the bidding is at just £1. If you like the style and don't want vintage, note that John Lewis does a modern-day variant too.
