eBay watch: 1970s Light Bulb Desk Lamp

We have featured a couple of variations of this 'look' in the past - the original Bulb Table Lamp by Ingo Maurer and the rather stylish (and much cheaper) Watt table lamp at John Lewis. However, you can get a similar look even cheaper (potentially) with this 1970s Light Bulb Desk Lamp.

It's the same Maurer-like design, presumably a piece inspired by the original in the '70s (or possibly '80s) and presumably fairly affordable at the time. But time has been kind to it, with the Maurer lamp never more popular, so this 22cm-tall lamp in metal and glass could be a shrewd purchase.

Described as being in 'very good' condition, it's currently at just 64 pence.
