The Mr Men are celebrating a significant milestone, with this Sgt Pepper-style Mr Men 40th anniversary print by Roger and Adam Hargreaves produced to commemorative the much-loved characters's longevity.
There are two prints available, with one significant difference. Go for the premium fine art edition and you get all the characters created since 1971 in that Beatles-like line-up, along with an unseen shot of creator Roger Hargreaves amongst them all. The shot was originally black and white, but has been coloured to fit in with the image. It's a giclee print on paper, limited to 240, sized at 24 x 26 inches and sold with a certificate of authenticity and a signature from Adam Hargreaves.
Alternatively, the standard version is smaller at 18 x 18 inches, in an edition of 400 and missing Roger Hargreaves from the line-up.
Prices are very different too. The standard print sells unframed for £50, while the premium version is yours for £295.
