Bois Manu Expo 1958 palette coffee table by Lucien de Roeck
This is an amazing design and judging by its age, could well be fairly unique too - the Bois Manu Expo 1958 palette coffee table by Lucien de Roeck.
It was, as the name suggests, designed in 1958 for the world expo in Brussels, a midcentury-style coffee table with angled legs and a surface that's shaped like an artist's palette. But not just that - the design actually features the expo, with the Atomium in the centre.
The table is collapsible and branded with the maker's name underneath. The one downside, as you might expect, is that the surface 'shows signs of wear commensurate with age'. See the close-up shots for more on that.
But still a great design, regardless of the surface image. £50 is the price right now.
