eBay watch: 1970s space age Schneider SSS Stereo portable record player for under £100

It is a design we have featured before, as well as being one of the stars of the must-have L'Utopie Du Tout Plastique book. But for once, there's a Schneider SSS Stereo portable record player on a 'buy it now' of under £100 - although there are perhaps one or two reasons for that.

The design is a minor classic of the '70s space age and a great piece of design. The player and speakers all pack up into a single case, but open out to offer stereo sound on the go, spinning both LPs and singles.

The description on the item is minimal - there are a few pictures, with condition described as both 'good' and 'working'. But it's perhaps worth looking closely at those images. It certainly doesn't look mint, although it does look complete.
