Cath Kidston Petal Biscuit Jar

If your love of mod cons stops you from having a truly retro kitchen and your budget won’t stretch to Smeg appliances, then you can always just add a few retro accessories such as this Cath Kidston Petal Biscuit Jar.

The petal design is a bold daisy pattern in clashing shades of red, orange, blue and yellow. It looks as if it could have come straight from my mother’s kitchen in the 1970s, but that is no bad thing. The ceramic jar has a rubber seal lid to keep your biscuits fresh.

It costs £15 and is available to buy from the Cath Kidston website.
