Klaus Haapaniemi was not a name I was aware of (nor is it one that trips easily from the tongue), but the artist looks to have an interesting textile range with products like this Blue Rabbit Cushion.
The cushion is a product of the collaboration between Haapeniemi and designer Mia Wallenius. Their work, as shown in this cushion, is influenced by nature, Finnish folklore, fantasy and traditional decorative arts with a modern twist. The Blue Rabbit print is available on a range of different shaped and sized cushions, with prices starting at £60 for a 40cm square cushion and going up to £95 for a long bolster cushion or 88cm floor cushion.
