Finnish designers Kauniste does a nice line in Scandinavian folk art and crafts-influenced textiles including this Laululinnut Tea Towel.

The design’s name refers to the birds that make up the folk art pattern. The tea towel was hand-printed using traditional screen printing methods. If birds aren’t your thing, there are other designs in the range featuring mushrooms, kitchen goods and sugar bowl, all with a similar Scandinavian look. The tea towels cost £12.99 each, which might be a bit steep for something to dry your dishes with, but these designs are so good you could frame them – in which case they become rather a bargain.
