Buchans Football Idols Mug
With a certain football tournament in full swing, it seems a good time to feature Buchans Football Idols mug.
The mug is designed using images from Charles Buchan’s Football Monthly magazine, about which we’ve written in the past. The popular magazine ran from 1951 until the early 70s – a brief overview of its history and importance is given on the back. The mug itself features two illustrations of footballers, one from the 50s and one from the 70s. A better footballing knowledge than mine will be able to identify the legends portrayed. The mug costs £7.
