Sophie Conran table lamp at John Lewis

Great vintage style for a reasonable amount of money, courtesy of the Sophie Conran table lamp at John Lewis.

A new design, but one that screams the latter part of the first half of the 20th century (;ate '30s into the '40s in other words), it also has a but of class from that porcelain shade with a swirl petal pattern and some nice touches to the rest of the lamp, not least with the twisted fabric cord and  the toggle switch.

It stands around 49cm high and runs with a single halogen bulb. If you want one, the price is £70.
