Smeg Fab50 Fridge Freezer

They may look good, but I’ve long suspected that Smeg fridges may not provide enough space especially if you have a large family or favour American-style appliances. But the Smeg Fab50 Fridge Freezer solves that.

It measures 80cm wide and has a capacity of 484 litres, which should be enough for most homes. It is frost free and has all the storage features you’ve expect from a modern fridge freezer, but wrapped up a retro cover. At the moment it is only available in cream, white or silver rather than the huge array of colours we’ve seen from other Smeg fridges, but you can’t really go wrong with these classics. The fridge freezer was just launched at the Ideal Home Show 2012 and although it is available to order on several websites, they are all being coy about the price.

If you are interested in buying one, visit the Smeg website for further information and a list of stockists.
