Handball got a new lease of life when the 2012 Olympics was on, but one aspect of handball has never really gone out of style – the Adidas Spezial trainers.

The shoes were introduced as a speciality handball shoe back in the 1970s, but are probably more synonymous with football terraces than that particular niche sport. The latest reissue of the shoe offers two new suede colourways, both pictured here and described as oak and dark green, along with craft gold and craft orange.

Both are finished with gum soles with perforations for extra cushioning, gold branding and oval laces. A pair will cost you £59.
